At Architectural Planning & Design, L.L.C., headquartered in Louisville, KY and serving home owners of the Greater Louisville Area, we take this responsibility seriously, but we thoroughly enjoy the experience. We appreciate being a front-end part of hearing about the dream, seeing the space, learning about the needs, discussing the functional and aesthetic details, and then presenting the first drawings and illustrations. The only thing better than those first reactions to a drawing -- "Yes! That's it!" --- is the expression when the project is complete, using the details and specs of our Construction Documents, and the home owners exclaim, "It's exactly as you showed it to us."

I have been a registered architect for over 40 years. In the past I specialized in healthcare facility planning and design, for a variety of project types including new and replacement acute care hospitals, critical access hospitals, outpatient diagnostic and surgical centers, complex hospital additions and renovations, and skilled nursing and senior living environments. Since retiring from the corporate/healthcare space, I found a renewed passion for architectural planning and design by working with Louisville home owners on home-additions and renovation projects. I have a profound level of gratitude for being able to help develop personal spaces in such beautiful Louisville neighborhoods as Lake Forest, Norton Commons, Cherokee Gardens and Seneca Gardens.
I maintain an active license to practice architecture in Kentucky, and maintain my professional membership in the American Institute of Architects (AIA). I focus my continuing education studies on facility planning, design & construction.
